Nokia has unveiled their new “Healthier Together” virtual reality experience at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. The new experience will allow the users to interact with new digital health products. They can also make purchases through the application.
Nokia said that this experience is designed to highlight an average family’s journey of becoming healthier together. This is the reason for naming their product “Healthier Together”. The VR ads will also feature mixed reality pop-ups of the product description.
Nokia mentioned that the experience was created in conjunction with Brandwidth which is a creative marketing agency. They have used Nokia’s own OZO+ camera and software for this purpose (allowing the 360-degrees video and VR content creation).
Rob Le Bras-Brown, CMO of Nokia Technologies told that Nokia is launching the broadest range of consumer digital health products in the market. He also mentioned that the company chooses VR as the platform as it gives viewers a chance to experience the real environment with a real family.
He told that this is all the part of rebranding Nokia’s digital health products as their acquired Withings in May last year.
Nokia has also promised that it will soon release smart watches, the digital scale, blood pressure monitors and many more new technologies. Surely, Nokia is trying to re-establish itself in the market and it is a good way to start with the VR technology.
