Development of 3D models using VR technology has been one of the key areas of development of many companies. But, Google has found a way to do so using Blocks. It is a creative app which allows users to get started with 3D content creation very easy. The best thing about this app is that it is available free for the both HTC Vive and Oculus Rift users.

Well, there are apps that perform the similar task but none of them are much efficient. They require a complex set of skill to make 3D models. This is where Google has decided to solve this complex problem so that everyone can enjoy making 3D models. Using Blocks, you can place and edit basic shapes to make 3D models with far greater ease.

Google has also released Block’s tutorial that will only take 2 minutes to learn the entire process. The entire process is fairly simple and is nothing more than the menu selection type panel. So, now users can remake any of their favourite images in 3D. Blocks contain many tools for experts also which will require you some time to learn how to use them. You could swipe through the objects and grab any tool to move multiple pieces at once.

This app is certainly very good for the starter as it will help them to get started with development very quickly. Unity has also recently released their Editor VR which gather tools from other developers and places them on one platform which allows the user to make anything and use it in any games not just VR. Google might be looking forward to developing a complete platform where users can develop VR games of their own. It’s just a thought but never know when Google might just surprise us all.
