Google Tango to turn the real world into the matrix
The VR technology might not be as advanced as Matrix but Google Tango app lets the user peer into the real world (as if he was Neo himself). The AR and AR scanner developed by Null Real uses a special camera which is fitted to Tango ready smartphone. It turns the walls, ceilings, and floor of the environment around you into the virtual data stream.
These effects are much similar to the one showed in the legendary 1999 sci-fi movie. You can also walk around the room and peer into the camera. This will create a sensation like you are really in the Matrix. The company said that this is just the first product by them and they are actually planning to release the more cool product in the coming future.
Null Real is also working on other technological products like position tracking for mobile based VR but with no external sensors.
