Oculus Rift

Formula VR is a Netherland based company which is known for producing high-end sim rig. This company has developed a product that could change the whole driving experience for the racers.

The company has released world’s first VR sim racing helmet which is known as Helmet VR. The Helmet VR is made up of the combination of Arai racing helmet and an Oculus Rift headset.

It is often said that the VR headset’s view is similar to that of view of a racing helmet. This statement is inaccurate as per the FIA standards as the helmet should have a horizontal clearance of at least 180 degrees. This number is far more than what is currently offered by the current generation VR headset.

This means that this helmet could not be used in any official race but it does add some unique feature to the helmet.

The addition of oculus rift provides more realistic sensation to the driver. The weight distribution is also even after the addition of oculus rift.

The helmet is also surrounded with a sound system which adds to the realistic nature while driving.

Helmet VR is available in the limited series. So, one need to hurry if they want to get their hands of this beautiful product.

Helmet VR is available from 2459 pounds.
